Carlos Alcaraz’s absence from the Cincinnati Open men’s draw will be a major blow, but Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev are all set to star.
This 2026 Cincinnati Open will mark the 125th edition of the men’s tournament in Mason, Ohio, and it will run from 13 to 23 August at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
Cincinnati is the second hard-court ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the North American hard-court season, and it is the last big event on the calendar before the US Open.
Alcaraz was the reigning champion, having secured his maiden Cincinnati Open title in 2025, but the Spanish star will not defend his title due to a right wrist injury.
