Alex Eala schedule: What tournaments has the Filipina star signed up to for the rest of 2026?
Alex Eala has been one of the stories of the summer as her brilliant performances have helped her soar up the WTA Tour rankings.
The Filipina star’s first-ever WTA title victory at the Washington Open helped her climb inside the top 20 of the rankings for the first time in her career.
She’s continued that good form at the Canadian Open, where she has reached the round of 16 by defeating Alycia Parks and Caty McNally.
Eala has won 10 of her 11 matches dating back to her run to the Wimbledon fourth round and she will be fancied to trouble Belinda Bencic at the Toronto event.
But what tournaments is Eala set to play for the rest of the 2026 season?

The star looked slightly burned out in her match against McNally in Toronto, so it might worry fans to know that she has been confirmed to play the Cincinnati Open directly following the Canadian event.
The Masters event is set to begin on the 11th August, but Eala will likely play later on in that week if she continues surge into the latter stages of the Canadian Open.

Eala’s schedule does not get any easy after the Cincinnati Open, as the final Grand Slam of the year, the US Open, directly follows the Masters event.
The 21-year-old is set to pull double duty at the Grand Slam too, as she has signed up to play the lucractive Mixed Doubles event alongside Felix Auger-Aliassime.
That means Eala will be at Flushing Meadows for the full three weeks, especially if she enjoys another deep run like she has been in recent months.
Eala has already confirmed her attendance at the Singapore Open too. One of the first tournaments on the WTA Tour’s Asian swing, the event is set to kick off on September 21st, just eight days after the final of the US Open takes place.
Eala has never played the main draw of the event before, although she did attempt to go through qualifying in 2025. She defeated Sara Saito, before losing to Simona Waltert in the final stage.
The Filipina star has not confirmed her attendance at any other Asian events so far, but you can expect the star to play the Wuhan Open and the China Open, as they are both WTA 1000 events.
Elsewhere, Eala might play the Ningbo Open and the Tokyo Open, both of which take place at the end of the WTA Tour’s Asian swing, right before the season ends.
With Eala chasing a potential place at the WTA Finals, she could be tempted to bulk out her schedule to try and gain much-needed ranking points.
That does, however, all depend on how she performs at the US Open. Without a deep run at Flushing Meaows, her WTA Finals status will likely not happen.
